Allen & heath 32 channels Mixer
The Allen & Heath 32-channel plain mixer is a professional-grade audio mixing console designed for live sound reinforcement and studio applications. With its extensive channel count and robust features, it offers versatile mixing capabilities for a wide range of audio sources.
The mixer provides 32 input channels, allowing you to connect a variety of devices such as microphones, instruments, and playback sources. Each channel typically includes a preamplifier with adjustable gain, allowing you to amplify the incoming signals to an appropriate level. Additionally, channels may offer options for phantom power to support condenser microphones and high-pass filters to remove low-frequency rumble or unwanted noise.
The plain mixer usually offers a comprehensive set of controls for each channel, including dedicated faders for adjusting the channel’s volume level, as well as EQ (equalization) controls for shaping the frequency response of the audio signal. Typically, the EQ section includes knobs or sliders for adjusting bass, midrange, and treble frequencies, allowing you to tailor the sound to your preferences or the requirements of the audio source.
In addition to individual channel controls, the mixer typically features a master section that provides overall control over the mixed audio signals. This section may include a master fader for adjusting the overall volume level, as well as auxiliary sends for creating monitor mixes or adding external effects to specific channels.
Furthermore, the mixer may offer a range of connectivity options to interface with other audio equipment. This can include balanced XLR inputs for microphones, balanced line inputs for instruments or playback devices, direct outputs for recording purposes, and auxiliary sends and returns for integrating external effects processors or monitor systems.
Allen & Heath is known for producing mixers with excellent audio quality, durable construction, and intuitive user interfaces. Their mixers often feature high-quality components and advanced signal processing capabilities to ensure clean and transparent audio reproduction.
