Behringer 802USB
Behringer 802USB features 8 input channels, consisting of two balanced XLR microphone inputs and two stereo 1/4-inch TRS line inputs. These inputs allow you to connect microphones, instruments, line-level devices, or playback equipment simultaneously. This flexibility makes it suitable for a range of audio sources, including microphones, guitars, keyboards, and other line-level signals.
One notable feature of the 802USB is its built-in USB audio interface. With the USB connection, you can easily connect the mixer to your computer, allowing for digital recording and playback. This feature is particularly useful for capturing audio directly into recording software or for integrating the mixer with digital audio workstations (DAWs).
Each input channel on the 802USB is equipped with a 3-band EQ (high, mid, low), providing you with basic control over the tonal characteristics of each signal. It also includes a global level control for adjusting the overall volume of the mixer.
For monitoring purposes, the mixer offers a headphone output with its own dedicated level control. This allows you to listen to your mix or individual channels privately without affecting the main output.
In terms of outputs, the 802USB provides a main mix output through stereo RCA connectors. These outputs can be connected to amplifiers, powered speakers, or other audio equipment. Additionally, it includes a stereo aux send/return for connecting external effects processors or creating monitor mixes.
The 802USB features a compact and portable design, making it easy to transport and set up in different environments. Its layout is straightforward and user-friendly, with clearly labeled controls and indicators, making it suitable for beginners or those with limited mixing experience.
Overall, the Behringer 802USB plain mixer offers a compact size, USB connectivity, and essential mixing features, making it a practical choice for small-scale audio applications where simplicity and versatility are key requirements.
